Regina Merson left her law profession to start Latina-focused cosmetics brand Reina Rebelde.

This past Friday (September 24th, 2021), the Google Small Business Twitter channel had a tweet:

The tweet has a link that tells a bit of Regina Merson’s story–in fact, the link goes to an article written by her, titled, How Google Is Helping Latina Business Owners Like Me.

In that article (which is written in English, followed by Spanish), Regina tells a bit about her story. Basically, she writes that “corporate brands were selling to us in a way that lacked authenticity.”

She wanted to create a brand that celebrates the diverse heritage of Latinas.

So Reina Rebelde was born.

Regina talks about how she, as with all entrepreneurs beginning a new enterprise, had a lot to learn. This includes digital tools, among which were Google Analytics, Gmail, Google Meet, and Google Drive.

Google for Small Business Is Available in Spanish

Google realizes that the Spanish-speaking population is significant, and has made several of its products and services available in Spanish, such as Google Small Business (Google para Empresas Pequeñas).

Google Has On-Demand Workshops in Spanish

Did you know that? Yes, you can take these workshops in Spanish.

Did You Know that Google Has Digital Coaches?

On its Digital Coaches page, Google has portraits of a range of experts (20, by my count) who collectively cover a good portion of the continental US.
