Instagram has become a popular social media platform with over 1 Billion people using Instagram every month. More and more businesses have set up their own instagram pages for brand awareness, for marketing, for sales, and a whole lot more.
In a world where people prefer visual content and attention spans have gotten shorter, Instagram has been a good platform to introduce brands, products, and gain the attention of people, get them to follow your brand, and switch them to customers.
One particular downside of Instagram though is that links do not work in caption. The only place where you can add a working link is in the profile and recently, in Instagram stories. Aside from that, you are only limited to one clickable link and not multiple links in bio, which can be rather inconvenient if you have a website and release products and specials from time to time, plus, if you also have other social media accounts that you would like to link to.
Worry no more. If you want to know how to add multiple links in your instagram bio, here are 11 solutions you can use to do that.
You’ve probably heard that there are a few solutions and services that you can use to try to bypass Instagram’s limit of a single link in bio.
Now, before we go further, I want to be clear about something: as far as I know, there’s no way to literally have 2 or more clickable links on your Instagram bio. (Sure, you can have multiple non-clickable text links, but only one clickable link.)
What Do I Need to Set up Multiple Links on Instagram?
What some people are doing to overcome Instagram’s one-link limit is this: they set up an off-Instagram landing page that has multiple links. Each of these links pertain to a reason why someone may want to click on that person’s profile.
But before we get into specific solutions for having multiple links, there’s one question that helps determine which solution you use:
Do You Manage Multiple Links for Clients’ Instagram Accounts?
If you manage multiple Instagram accounts, a paid service like Shorby might be an option to consider.
Why Should You Optimize Your Instagram Bio Link?
You should optimize your Instagram bio/profile link because you want to make it inviting for people to click on your link.
While this article isn’t a deep-dive on optimizing your profile page, I will say 2 things:
Make your profile page visually appealing.
Make your clickable link welcoming. So, instead of a long url/link, have a short one that reads something like, mysite.com/free-stuff
Solution #1: Your Own Website
Most modern website-building platforms create responsive (mobile) sites. If this is the case for you, then depending on how familiar you are with your platform, you can very easily create a landing page that offers unlimited links that can lead them to your preferred page or blog post. (Or, hopefully, your webmaster won’t charge too much for this.)
Pros and Cons of Using Your Own Website
No need for a third-party service
You can have your custom domain
You can potentially save money
If your site and profile have a similar look, you can seamlessly retain the look and feel of both
If you have some sort of tracking on your site (Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.) then you might be able to see how much traffic you get from Instagram
There may be a slight SEO benefit if the search engines (Google in particular, via their tracking and Chrome) measure social traffic coming to your site.
If your webmaster has to do this, it can be costly, particularly if you want to regularly change links
There may be a learning curve with this, depending on your level of skill and familiarity
Solution #2: Lnk.bio
Your password isn’t needed because it uses the Instagram API.
Very generous monthly ($0.99) and one-time pricing ($9.99 and $24.99) that includes unlimited list of links, link tracking, statistics, among others.
For it’s very generous price, I can’t really justify myself in saying that Lnk.bio has any cons, per se. It may not have some of the advanced features that other higher-priced options have, but it is a solid contender.
Solution #3: Linktree
Perhaps the most well-known third-party bio link tool.
Forever free option though there is a Linktree Pro paid option that offers extra features like a landing page builder and advanced analytics
A handful of integrations and cool feature, such as the Facebook pixel and MailChimp
Other than thumbnails, no ability to add rich images to the page
Perhaps the most well-known third-party bio link tool.
Forever free option.
A handful of integrations, such as the Facebook pixel and MailChimp.
But…is Linktree Banned on Instagram?
No, it currently isn’t.
The reason why some may ask this is because back in 2018, Instagram was marking some Linktree links as spam. I think that has been resolved now.
Allows you to create your own theme for your landing page.
Granular stats and retargeting.
Not much to complain about. Some may prefer other options, but ContactInBio is worth looking at.
Solution #10: LinkTube
Used by some known names, such as CNN Greece.
It’s for free‒ what is there to complain about? Yes, other options may have more robust features, but from what I can tell, LinkTube is free.
Solution #11: Landing.Bio
Site can be read in multiple languages.
Doesn’t seem to be very well known.

LinkTube is free
Lnk.bio has some generous pricing (and even one-time pricing)
If pixel tracking and/or stats are important to you, you can consider:
Using your own website (if you have tracking set up)
If you’re an agency or otherwise manage multiple profiles, do check all the solutions listed above to see if they have an agency or multi-account solution.
That said, here are some to consider:
How To Advertise Your Link In Instagram Bio
If you have a large enough following and you’re an influencer, you may be able to sell advertising space on your instagram feed and then on your landing page.
Keep in mind that you may have to disclose in your instagram profile or post that certain links are paid or sponsored.
If you just want people to click on the link in your bio and/or landing page, then you basically have to just promote it. That’s the simple answer.
Where to Redirect Your Audience
You can redirect your audience to:
A course you offer
Your FB group
To a contest
To an email opt-in page
To an online shop
To a subscription form
To some contact forms
…The possibilities are seemingly endless.
