Several services went down around 9:30 a.m. PT on March 21, 2022, but Apple said the system already is up and running today.
The App Store, iCloud, Apple Maps, Apple Music, Apple School Manager, Apple Care on Device, Apple TV+, and other Apple services were all down on Monday morning. A number of Apple developer systems were also affected. Apple’s retail locations also appeared to be impacted.
According to Apple’s system status page, a variety of services, including the App Store, Apple Fitness+, and Apple Care on Device, began experiencing troubles at 9:30 a.m. PT. Many people were still down two hours later.
Services have become an increasingly essential element of Apple’s business in recent years. Apple announced in January that its services division climbed 24 percent year over year in the first quarter, bringing in $19.5 billion.
