Google has announced on Twitter that Search Console in Search Results feature will now also support domain properties.
This means that if you search Google and get results from your Search Console verified sites, you might also see a card showing a summary of your site’s performance for that search result.
This card can only appear if you are an owner or full user of the site in Search Console, and you are signed in with that Google account while doing the search.
This feature should help you see clicks, impressions, and average position data for your site, for that particular search, directly in the search engine results page without having to open Search Console for the data.
However, if you prefer not to see the card when doing a search, you have the option to turn it off.
Here are the steps to take in order to show or hide the card for your site/s.
Show or hide the summary card for an individual property
Hide the summary card for all your properties
If you later check Enable feature, the last status for each site will be restored in the table.
What do you think of this added feature for domain properties? Is it helpful or is it just a nuisance in the search results?
