For anyone who creates or performs, there may come a point where they feel they have to learn how to optimize the workflow of themselves as individuals (and maybe even their team, if they run a small business).
Yesterday (November 30th, 2021), the Google Creators Twitter channel had this tweet:
That tweet links to this nearly 6-minute video by Andi Eaton:
In that video, Andi gives you 2 ways to increase your productivity.
But, these might not be 2 ordinary ways to increase productivity: instead (at least for the first one) Andi combines productivity with efficiency.
The first one has to do with learning from your top-performing content.
Basically, find the articles that are statistically doing the best for you, and mimic those.
Andi gives more details in her video.
The second way to increase productivity has to do with what she says is a mindset shift. Basically, you determine the monetary value of a range of activities.
Then, the ones that can potentially bring you the highest monetary return (or, I’d add return in other ways other than non-monetary) are the activities that are prioritized.
That actually reminds me of a saying I’ve heard: work on your business, not in your business. Learn to delegate the tasks you can, and do the work that only you can do (or which can potentially bring in the highest return for your efforts).
