Microsoft Ads unveiled a new, more straightforward setup process for Smart Campaigns in response to the growing needs of small and medium businesses (SMBs) in today’s environment.
On Thursday, September 8th, in their recent blog, Microsoft Ads launched a significant new feature that distinguishes them from Google Ads. It is said that existing advertisers may be eligible for early access to the capabilities even though Microsoft will begin rolling out the experience migration in the coming months.
The Smart Campaign upgrade contains the following features; a newly guided campaign experience, simplified ad layout with options to self-create or auto-generate, and an updated AI (artificial intelligence) solution for optimizations.
Also, users can now extend their advertising reach and run advertisements across several platforms with the new Microsoft Ads Smart Campaign experience, including Microsoft Ads, Google, Facebook, and Instagram.
Meanwhile, Google’s Performance Max campaign type (formerly Smart Campaigns) provides ad space across all of the company’s owned properties, including Discover, YouTube, Gmail, Display, and Search. However, ad inventory is limited to Google-owned properties.
Microsoft Ads Smart Campaigns were initially offered in 2021 for select marketers in the US, UK, and Australia regions.
