I first heard of mind mapping years ago, and I think the first (and so far, only) book I read on the subject was Tony Buzan’s The Mind Map Book: Unlock Your Creativity, Boost Your Memory, Change Your Life.
But I’m not writing this to talk about that book specifically, but rather, about a chat/interview that Google for Creators featured on their blog, in a post titled, How Mind Mapping Can Help Creators Make Better Content.
The Q&A-style chat was with Markus Müller-Simhofer, founder of MindNode.
The blog post talks about what mind mapping is, how Markus came across it, and the benefits of using an app such as his.
What Is Mind Mapping?
Well…have you seen a brainstorm or mind dump?
It’s where you write or jot down a bunch of seemingly-unrelated ideas onto a sheet of paper (or a board).
Well, visually, a mind map may look like that, but there’s more of a structure to a mind map. A mind map can make the non-linear look linear.
The best way to really understand what a mind map is is to try it out.
