If you’ve ever worked with multiple software solutions, you know that one of the greatest obstacles to working with multiple software is having to learn all the user-interfaces (UI) of the various software.
On a smaller scale, the same applies to using the older version of Google Analytics (sometimes called User Analytics) and the more recent Google Analytics 4. There are differences between the two that might make navigation (doing something in one version, and wanting to do something similar in the other version) a bit more challenging.
Well, if that’s been your case, then a tweet seen yesterday (October 21st, 2021), may be a good sign (though there may be more work to do):
That tweet links to a Firebase Help page, titled, New Google Analytics 4 functionality in Google Analytics for Firebase.
Basically, it lists a number of Analytics for Firebase features that have been changed to align with Google Analytics 4.
These are the dashboard, realtime, settings, retention, funnels, events, and conversions.
