Google changed its mind about discontinuing the widely-used Chrome extension, Tag Assistant, due to substantial feedback from users. As a result, Tag Assistant Legacy and Tag Assistant Companion have been merged into a more streamlined and effective tool.

Google’s John Mueller was questioned about whether the screenshot feature in the URL Inspection Tool of Google Search Console accurately reflects what Google Search displays. Mueller replied that, generally speaking, the answer is yes, but he also noted some exceptions and limitations.
