TikTok is developing a new feature that will enable users to see who has viewed their posts.
According to a test that was spotted in the wild, TikTok is in the process of adding viewer history to posts.
Users will soon be able to see who viewed their TikTok videos, which will provide users with yet another set of data to help them identify users’ most engaged followers.
However, users’ followers will be able to see when they view their posts as well.
If users are not comfortable with this, they can choose to disable post view history. However, users will no longer be able to see the view history for their content.
TikTok’s post view history isn’t like Instagram and Facebook stories, where it’s enabled by default for everyone.
Also, TikTok’s view history is also time-limited, lasting only seven days from the date of publication.
