Microsoft Bing believes that it’s important to find inspiration and a sense of adventure may it be in exploring your own hometown or visiting a new place that’s you’ve always wanted to go to.

Travel planning can be a difficult process and requires a lot of details that need to be taken care off, from looking at a site for destinations, going to another site to book flights, another for maps, etc.

With all these difficulty in mind, Bing announced the release of New Travel Experiences to help save time and money on traveling, while helping you find inspiration for your next adventure.

In this new feature, aggregated information on all things travel is provided – from destination, itineraries, flights, hotels, and more, presented in a visually rich format.

If you have a specific destination, all you would need to do is simply search for the location in Bing. It would provide a travel guide that would serve as your jump-off point in your trip planning.

There is a suggested itinerary under “What to see & do” for the trip duration to help you get an idea of what your trip might look like. You can also “Book Flights” and “Book Hotels”.

For those without a particular destination, the Travel Guide homepage can be a source of inspiration for your next travel destination. It shows top destinations worldwide that you can explore more.

“Experience 360” is another feature to check out that provides immersive views and can be a way to explore for those who are not yet able to travel, at the comfort of their own home.

There is also an “Eat & Drink” carousel for those who loves food and dining experiences and would like to try what each place has to offer.

Lastly, for those looking for deals, there is a “Coupon & Deals” section to browse deals for flights, trip packages, and more.

As of now, the feature is only available in the US, but is expected to roll out in other markets in the future.

Are you in the travel, hospitality, food and dining industry? These could be a good opportunity for you to optimize and get your site/client’s ranked for Bing and featured in their New Travel Search feature! Definitely something to check out!
