Yesterday, on October 5th, 2021, the Google Search Central Twitter channel had a tweet that announced a new video:
That tweet linked to Google’s new video that’s on it’s Search Central YouTube channel, titled, How to improve Largest Contentful Paint.
In the video, Patrick Kettner, who’s a Developer Advocate for Google, covers a number of topics pertaining to this subject.
Here’s a list of the chapters covered, each with a timestamp link to the associated portion of the video.

What’s a Good LCP Score?
One thing I learned from this video is that a good LCP score is “less than 2.5 seconds for at least 75 of the sessions on your page.” I thought that that was quite generous, because I have seen results where entire web pages load in less than 2 seconds.
As you know, LCP is a piece of the Page Experience puzzle. If you can work to improve your LCP score, you take steps toward creating a better experience for your users.
