Are you one of those who open sites on your browser for later viewing and then tend to forget them, till you remember again, get back to them, and find they’ve already been closed? Or maybe sometimes search through some topics until you are done, then after a while, suddenly remember an information you’ve read about but do not recall the exact source of it?

Now, you do not have to worry with Chrome’s newly rolled out feature called “Journeys”.

With Chrome Journeys, you can revisit your browser history grouped according to topic. No longer would you need to go through a long list of browser history listed according to dates, just to find that one particular page you visited in the past. Just search for the topic and with Journey, all pages visited under the topic will appear, making it easier for you to choose which one is the exact page you are looking for.

All you would need to do is type a related keyword in the search bar and click on “Resume your research” or visit the Chrome History Journeys Page to see a list of relevant sites that you have visited.

An added feature is that Journeys will also take into account how much you have interacted with the site and put the most relevant information front and center, while also providing related suggestions that you may want to try next. Talk about going further down the rabbit hole.

Worried about your browser search history and data security and would prefer some topics not to be revisited ever again? You can delete items or entire cluster of activity.

You even have the option to turn off Journeys completely, in case you do not want to use the feature.

An added security feature is that Journeys only groups history on your device and nothing is saved to your Google account.

Journeys is only available in Chrome desktop on any operating system in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, and Turkish.

As of this time, Google is also exploring the option of accessing Journeys across multiple devices as some has expressed interest in it.

Neat new feature for Chrome. Wondering where you have found a particular SEO tip and can’t recall where exactly you have read it? Now you can search your browser history easier with Journeys.
