Google Search Console Experiences Latency Issues

If you’ve been checking your Search Console performance reports, you may have noticed that it has stopped updating this week – it took almost 4 days before it started to update again.

According to Google, this is due to latency issues. They posted yesterday (July 4) on X that fresh data is being reprocessed and is likely to take 2-3 days to fully catch up. Looking at the reports now, looks like this has been resolved.

Rumors have been sprouting up since the delays in reporting began that it is some sort of unconfirmed update rolling out. John Mueller clarified in LinkedIn that it is not an unconfirmed update and that reporting is independent of the process of making ranking updates.
