Pinterest has recently announced a 2021 holiday guide for businesses.

On it’s Holiday page, Pinterest Business entices potential advertisers about the reach potential of advertising on Pinterest.

Why Do Pinterest Marketing in 2021?

Because, according to Pinterest Business, people start their shopping (or, at least start getting shopping ideas) on Pinterest.

Pinterest Business says that, when people are exposed to Pinterest Ads earlier in the holiday season (and buy process), there’s been an observable 4.7X increase.

Also, for brands that start advertising early, there’s been a 6% incremental sales lift.

So, you may be wondering, ‘Is it too late to start?’

Well, I guess the best time to have started was yesterday (or even earlier), but the second-best time to start is now (as of November 22nd, 2021).

Even if you miss Black Friday (which is this Friday, the 22nd), you still have Christmas, The Festival of Lights (Hanukkah) and Kwanzaa (although Kwanzaa gifts are usually homemade).

Pinterest Is a Great Option for Products or Services That Can Be Represented Visually

You probably know Pinterest as a Pin-oriented site. That is, it’s probably one of the most visually-oriented (or image-oriented) sites around.

People think of it as a social media site, and it can be, but here’s a good way to think about it: It’s a search engine, but instead of web pages showing up, you see pins, or images.

Let that sink in.

Your customers are searching for holiday ideas.

What are they typing into the search engines?

For Christmas, Pinterest marketing in 2021 seems like a promising investment for businesses.
